RCEP, namely Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, came into effect for Malaysia on March, 18, 2022. As the world's largest free trade area, RCEP will bring many opportunities and much vigor to international trade. Under the RCEP agreement, both China and Malaysia have added market opening commitments on the basis of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, and some products can obtain new tariff preferences. These products include stainless steel, cocoa, processed aquatic products and so on from China to Malaysia. And accordingly, they also contain agriculture products such as pineapple juice and some chemical products from Malaysia to China.
